Transmission trouble
I have a 2000 Z28 with automatic tranny,
1st and 2nd gear work just fine, but when it's in higher gears and i push the gas the car revs up but it's not giving me full power to the wheels. Any ideas? Could this be the torque converter? or some solenoid?

check that you have proper fluid if so, sounds like you tranny lost 3rd and 4th gear. Had that happen to me a few years ago. Probably going to need a news transmission unless is something else minor.
If its the transmission for less money you can get a performance transmission delivered to you by one of the many sponsers. I had to buy a gm transmission cost me over 3grand, works great but had i done the research some of the sponsers sell great transmission.
You would also get more answears if you posted this in the transmission section. Sorry i couldn't help much.
