Causes of running rich

Causes of running rich I just replaced the whole distributer with a delphi and msd cap and rotor. My car was running really bad before and i thought that would be the problem but it still runs bad. According the the A/f gauge i have its running rich and it says the same thing when hooked up to the lap top. Im going the change my plugs thursday, is there anything else that would cause it to run rich? Plugs, wires, and o2 sensors were changed about 6 months ago. thanks
