service engine soon light
the other day coming home from work my car started shaking at 65mph in 6gear and soon after my service engine soon light came on. i went to a friends house to see if he can run an engine diagnostic check but he didnt have the right year program, but it did say something regarding mulitple random missfires. the guy is kind of a dumbass and told me it was because i was a court low on oil (which dosent make sence to me) and deleted the error code. do the error codes come back up if the engine is still having problems? i dont honestly to much about cars but i was wondering if anyone could help me?

it was proabaly the random misfire multiple cylinders code...usually the problem is solved by doing a simple tune-up..plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, pcv, etc...try that first

low oil has nothing to do with misfire. Your friend has no idea what he is talking about, sorry to say it. I wouldn't let that guy touch my car if I were you. Random misfire just means there are several cylinders misfiring. The code will come back once the misfire counts for the cylinders reach a certain number. I would do a tune up and see how everything works out.

take the coil packs out and when you go to put them back in only place two bolts back on each one that way later on you won't have to dick around with messing with the bolts in the back... as far as making it less time consuming... quality is worth taking your time... after you do it a couple times you will be able to take less time on it practice makes perfect
