Default TCS button not funtioning

On my 02 WS6 my TCS button will not turn Traction control off. Any clue on what it could be? Just the switch? if so does anyone have a part number. It does work sometimes but 90% of the time it does not. Any help would be great.

I have not yet. did not think it would be the fuse because it works sometimes. If the fuse blew would it leave TCS on or off. Mine is on and cant get it off.

That just sounds odd. I don't know.

I want to see someone else chime in on this one.

Mine just started this, too. But with mine, when I start the car, the TCS is off now for some reason, then it turns on when I hit the switch, but it won't turn back off.

I have not pulled out the switch yet to see if something is wrong with it. Is it worth buying a new switch or If I pull the fuse will I also kill my ABS or another system?

Mine has done this in the past when the battery is on its way out. The TCS will stay in "off" when first firing up. After starting again, the light is then out after the battery has a charge. I have a autozone duralast gold - one lasted 3.5 years, but the one I have now is a little over a year. When I first install the new battery, it will not do this at all.
