my drivers taillight works sometimes. it will work and then stop all of a sudden. when i turn on the headlights they both come on but if i press the brakes only one gets brighter. sometimes. i was working earlier but now its not.
what could cause this??

It sounds like corroded contacts in the socket or a bad ground.
