Wipers stuck in "up" position

It's a design flaw and it's common in GM vehicles. There is a stop inside the motor that breaks and the wipers will still work just fine but not return to parked position when turned off. You can drive with your wipers parked in the up position as long as you want, if you don't mind looking like a dork.

there is an adjustment on them. i have adjust prolly 10 of them on grand prixs, monte carlos, and impalas. you need to remove the wipers, and then cowl. on the top of the motor there is black plastic cap. you need to room this by just popin it off. on the drivers side of the motor there is a slight tab that sticks up (if you turn your wipers on and off while watching you will understand what i'm talkin about a little better) but you take a flat head screwdriver and a hammer and you tap the tab in a just a little. its a catch so when you turn the wipers off and it will swing by that tap it come back and it hits that and that locks them down. so if it goes by that tap then it will stop in the up position. i hope this helps you. pm me if you need any more help or something.
