Default DS question.

don't know if this is the right section, but, how much rotational play should my driveshaft have? should it move about an inch? more, less?

Cool

There will be a little play in the trans. and a little in the rear end, but in the drive shaft or U-joints there should not be any. Depending on the type of rear end and set up there could be slightly different amounts. But like the previous post and inch seems like an extreme amount. hope this helps.

I think he is talking about rotational play, as in backlash when the car is parked...correct? If you mean an inch of rotational movement...it sounds about right. You will have some lash in the trans and in the rear diff.
