so ill be making a 1200 mile road trip this saturday. im wondering if there is any maintenance things that i should do. the 02 Z28 has 49k on the clock now. i changed the oil at 47,xxx something.. i just got the tranny built, so i have a new filter/fluid, rear fluid was obvisouly changed when i got the gears, i just got the coolant flushed, and new fuel filter about 3 months ago. anything else? havent driven the car at all?

Should be good with an oil change when you get back. Remember to change the diff. fluid every 30k as per manuel.

I'd change the oil before you go. Make sure the A/C works good and you have lots of money for gas... If you notice anything that is worn or will be worn in 1200 miles, fix it.

A good CD or two helps. Bring a code scanner if you have one...
