Ever change out the Positive Battery cable?
Went to work on the SS today and when I went to remove the positive cable, the lead inside snapped off.
I tried to hold the cable and unbolt the lead piece and the head stripped out.
I ordered a new cable from the dealer $76.
I know it's 3 wires. 1 to the starter, 1 to the alternator, and 1 to the fuse box.
How hard are they to get to?
Do you need to remove anything to get to the alternator & starter wires?
I hate my car right now. Still have the original problem I was working on to fix as well.

Positive cable is a little tough it runs with some other wires in the looms so it takes some time cutting the tape at the ends.
Straight forward job just takes some time to do it right.
I did it on a lift made it easy little tougher on the ground.

I also got mine from the dealer but dont remember paying $76. I think i paid about $36 or something like that. Anyways, you just have to take your time. Just like Sunset said, if you wanna keep it looking original, youre going to have to some cutting, taping and looming the cable in there. Not that bad of a job though. Good luck.
