Default Will 5w20 hurt?

I went and bought oil today and accidentally bought 5w20 instead of 5w30. Is this gonna hurt anything or should I go exchange for the 5w30? Its a 2002 Trans Am btw. Thanks Guys

I'd exchange it. Manual calls for 5w30 or 10w30.

Newer Ford (post-2001 or so) engines run 5W20, which also includes Mercury, Mazda etc. I think other manufacturers have started using it too. It is designed to allow tighter internal clearances as I understand it. Definitely shouldn't be run in an engine not designed for it.
