Angry Broken head bolt

Has anybody ever broke a head bolt while torqueing and was able to get it out with an easy out and if not were able to heli coli it?

Yes and yes. Did your head bolt break off flush with the block? If it did then you should be able to get an ez out on it and take it out. If not it sounds like you are going to have to drill it. I'm not sure if you can heli coil the block...

What do you mean by drilling it? Drill the bolt out completely and rethread it? What did you use to remove your busted bolt? I am trying to make a tool that is long enough to grab the bolt it is about 2 to 3 inches in the sleeve and the drill hole is slightly off center secondary to not flush break.
