Cut out at top end of fifth around 5000

Cut out at top end of fifth around 5000 the other day i got on my ta all the way thru fifth, and when it got to about 5000 rpms it just cut out, like completly fell off, im on stock clutch, 4.10 rear full exhaust and a lid. its done it a few times and i was wondering what that is. am i running out of gear cuz of the 4.10s?

5000 RPM in 5th?
I guess that's around 150mph on stock gears not sure what it is on 4.10's? Could it be the speed limiter coming in?
Does it do it any other times or is it just around that speed?

Mine was set to around 140mph. One of the first things i done was removed that from the PCM, well set it to the highest value possible which was 255mph.
The speed limiter seems to act like a rev limiter.

Doing those sort of speeds your lucky there was no cops around. It is scary at them speeds, I bet you thought something happened to the car at first. When I took mine to 5900rpm in 5th, its was like 4.30am. Was getting around 4.5miles per gallon. lol. Passing others cars like they are parked.
