Default My car wont idle at any less than 2k RPM's

this started last night. My car will drive itself down the road, i dont have to touch the gas, i take it out of gear the RPM's wont settle down below 2k rpm's unless i let it sit for like 20-30 seconds. It almost acts like the Throttle is stuck open, but thats not the case i dont think. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Maybe a carbon fouled IAC. Or a vacuum leak.

I know that's my answer and it sounds right. But, I have never seen a IAC go bad.

I had the exact same problem when my formula overheated. It was throwing a code for a faulty cooling fan, and a throttle body positioning sensor, all due to a loose wire for the fan.

Does yours do it all the time? Or just after it is warmed up?
