throwing belts over 4000 rpms
i have a 95 240sx with 408/t56 and i had to eliminate power steering to be able to take my car to cruising the coast this past weekend.... so i used a 52.5 inch belt and re routed it accordingly.... when i get over 4000 rpms it throws the belt every time..... also since i did the new belt the car trys to over heat sitting in the long periods of still traffic at cruising the coast.... could it be a tensioner problem or do i need to put a ribbed pulley where the smooth idler is? thanks in advance

i have been reading a lot about underdrive pulley's lately fixing that problem, they have the extra area on them to keep the belt on the pulley, they say the stock pulley is notorious for throwing the belt at high rmp's but my stock one has not thrown it yet and i take it to 6500 with everything on the front of the engine stock.
