Default tb bypass or cut and cap

this is probably a stupid question but I ordered a ported tb.what is the diffence between a tb coolant bypass and a cut and cap of the coolant lines.

this is my first ported tb btw so im a newb.please help

o yeah I ordered the one that was cut and capped,did i just shoot my foot or will I be ok

Do not cut and cap that coolant line. Just bypass it back to the rad.

I ordered the one that was cut and capped.whats wrong with cut and capping it.Is it just easier to bypass it to the rad,or is it simply not goin to work.

Just use the bypass kit. It so easy to do a monkey could do it BTW I didnt cap my tb after I was done.

My throttle body has no caps, lol The bypass is so easy to do though.

You don't need to cap the TB nipples, but if it's been done don't worry about it, it won't hurt anything.

o I get it now,whether its cut and capped it does not matter.the throttle body bypass can still b done.thanx dickey,

I was actually wondering if I could cap off that coolant line cuz it's in my way. Any input on this?

It needs to run somewhere. On many swap setups they tap the water pump to accept it instead of running it to the radiator or radiator hose. But no, you can't simply cap it
