I don't think so, the '99 and up tanks are different.

from what i know and correct me if im wrong the 99 and up tanks are plastic and the 98's have a metal tank and i think the 98 tank might be a little biger by a gallon or so.
i would think the area where the tank mounts would be the same on eather car.

The tanks are swappable but the pumps are different.

99 and up tanks are plastic and are bigger than the 98 tanks....

same size. but the 98's use a return style fuel system so you will need to convert it all over to the new tank.

the 98 tanks are smaller in size than 99+. We are stuck with 15.8 gallons max.
