Default Gains with a FTRA or similar ram air kit?

I wanted to know what are the gains in the 1/4 mile with adding a FTRA kit or similar...? Which one to go with? SLP CAI or FTRA kit?... thanx!!

I do not think there will be any LARGE gains, but I would think that a small gain is possible. After installing the SLP CAI kit on mine I realized that it would only work at high speeds. Other brands like the SSRA kit would start working at lower speeds because of its direct ram air design.

I gained a tenth and 1 mph in 90 degree weather and in a headwind.

Its worth it.

I have the FTRA. I believe there is a scoop now available for the FTRA kit.

The SSRA is a two piece kit that has a scoop to direct air into the upper box. Austin Performance Inc makes this along with the add on scoop for the other cold air kits such as the SLP or FTRA.

I picked up 3 rwhp on the dyno with a FTRA style Whisper Ram Air. Only had a small fan blowing at the front of the car. So, I'm sure at regular vehicle speeds, that figure is much higher.
