Default Need Advice!

I am going to most likely purchase another Trans Am WS.6. My last one was a 30,000 mile 2000 Trans Am WS.6 M6 Bone Stock...all I did was install a SLP Intake, Smooth Bellow, and a cut-out. It ran great, but due to my job sucking I had to sell it. I just now sold the car I never use....(my old Mustang) and want to get a 35,000 mile 2001 WS.6 M6 with a 12 bolt, built 6-speed, slp intake, and Full Exhaust! I should be pleased! My question is this strange 12 bolt on the car has 4.30 gears in it! Now I drove this car and it pulls hard! Really Fun to drive but it almost seems that I am in and out of the gears to quickly!

Question 1. Is 4.30's too much!!!??? Is any body else running 4.30's????
Question 2. In the future what type of cam should I go with since the gears are so steep! I am a fan of the 224/224 duration cams but gears like this might compliment a larger duration cam!

Thanks in Advance

I think it depends on how you intend to use the car....is it track only, DD or combo.

Changing the gears is always an option. Might be easier if you wanna match a cam.
