ru using jackstands? The only thing i can think of is get the car higher! Mine just slid right in on the passenger side. You have to take off the dipstick too. On the drivers side i had to remove the steering knuckle tho.

My pacesetters went in from the bottom, removed dipstick and starter. Had it up pretty high on jackstands

I slid my SLP (first design) in after removing the dipstick tube and starter, moved the trans to one side and had no problems. both sides, cats, ypipe were done in less than 6 hours. (first time installing headers, But used a lift)

Remove oil dipstick, starter, and get the car really high off the ground. If that doesn't work then remove the passenger side motor mount bolt and jack the motor up a bit.

Last time I did headers on my buddy's car we literally needed a ladder to reach into the engine compartment. So try going higher. We didn't have to remove the starter but the dipstick tube yes....

Same here. As long as you remove the dipstick tube and get it high enough, you won't have to remove the starter or unbolt the engine from the mount on the passenger side at all, it will slide right in. The header will almost be pointed straight up with the collector dragging on the ground as you rotate it in.

Having only done the Hooker LTs on my car I can say that you only need about 2ft, and to remove the dipstick. One bolt and the dipstick should wiggle right out. Just take your time and if you get frustrated then take a 5min break and come back and try again. It is supposed to fit in there I promise. Good luck!

PS- With the Hooker the passenger side was easy and the driver side was the pita.
