Default Building your own x pipe

Has anybody done it? I have long tube headers and i want the exhaust to dump after the x pipe. It doesnt look hard but can it be done in my garage?

well i looked at some pics of peoples x pipe and it looks like they have very small degree bends. How will i acheive this. And they headers toe to the outside of the vehicle. How will i compensate for it?

Get a 45 degree bend for the driver side header. Then you should be good.

If your going to be cutting bends (manderal U and J) and welding everything together. Just make it yourself, its easy Ive made a few.


If your gona be making some dumps or somthing with just slips fits , and pre bends of fixed angles. And lots of clamps and everything, thats not gona fit all that great. Your gona be stuck with the resorces of paying 60-100$ whatever they are for a pre made one. if you have the welding skills and a metal chop saw you can do some nice work for alot cheaper.
