Default My GMMG In Action *Sound Clips*

Wow after hearing my exhaust on video, i need to get a PowerPack muffler in the I pipe and install it against the grain.

So that wont be till next spring as i stored my car today. I have my DMH 3" E-cutout that needs to be installed, then i need to get the PowerPack.

at my burn out vid. I killed the car after doing it...

Eh, sounds alright.........

j/k Jonas, sounds good. I think having a stalled auto makes it even more raspy since it seems I am always in the 2-2500 rpm range where it seems to be the raspiest(sp?)

Your neighbors must love you ...

Here's hoping for your victory over rasp.

You're putting your car away early, man ... with global warming you get to enjoy it a little more each year. Heck, it was close to 80F in Kansas today.

Well my car stays at my moms house. My apt. does not offer garages. And why pay for storage when it is free My neighbors actually love the car

Yeah it was nice today and suppossed to be 70s tomorrow, then next week we will have 5" of snow

EDIT: Did your GMMG sound like mine b4 the powerpack? Did you ever post a clip after you got your powerpack welded in? kinda curious to see how mcuh rasp it took outta your set up

I have heard LT's,ory and gmmg in person with a cam and i didn't like it. I hate to say it but i don't really like your setup either. The TD's and flows sound so much better IMO.

But as long as you like it.

You guys wanna talk about rasp, I have a flowmaster cb and without the cats, this thing spits at me. Figure of speech. You should hear it when I just rev, it rasps the whole back down through the rpms. IMO, it sounds good. Just a little raspy.

I think it sounds **** man. A couple of vids for comparison...MS3, 5.3L heads, tsp 1 7/8 LT, ORY GMMG>>>

And just the begining of this:

How did that flowmaster merge change the sound of your exhaust?

you know i loved how my O/R H and 1 Chambers sounded. It was a matter of clearance being the issue

So GMMG was obvious choice for going back to a Y

To be honest i don't know how the flowmaster merge changed the sound. B/C before my Y + GMMG i had H + 1 Chambers. So when i got my Y, Merge and GMMG C/B i did it all in 1 shot.

My rasp was horrible; if anything, it sounded worse. But before I put on the powerpack, I put cats on. They helped, but not enough.

After the powerpack, I installed Hooker resonator tips. Most people don't recognize the impact tips have on sound. At the very least you want something double walled.

I posted this up some time ago. I haven't gotten around to doing a driveby.
