Spark plug gap ?

Spark plug gap ?
Just installed Kooks Headers & Y /w high flow cats. slp ldmth 1, check light and lots of fuel consumption. My plugs are AC DELCO IRRIDIUM, My gap is set at .040. Any suggestions. Thanks much.

i put tr55s without changing the gap, and installed msd wires.. Car runs like **** now and I am getting alittle misfire to in the 6 and 7 cylinders. thinking of changing back to a delco plug.

Yep it was the gap, running fine now. Its weird, no one can give a proper answer. When i changed plugs about 5 months ago, the original were at .055, the ones i got from auto store told me to go .055, i went to .040, which were fine for stock ls 1, but after mods, it ran super rich and idled too high, so yesterday took them out, cleaned them up and broke tip off of one. Went buy a new one and he said the gap should be .040. I went too .055 and is fine, after 5 full days of doing and redoing car is awesome.
