Headers What's best bang for the buck!
I looking to get a set of race longtubes and ory this winter, What is the best bang for the buck not lookin to spend a ton. I have heard great things about pacesetter and also the Texas speed headers. but I've also been warned about them rusting out in 2-3 years so i should spend the money now for Stainless ARP or KOOKS? Thanks for the advice

For $499 shipped you can get BBK LT's & ORY from LMPerformance in silver ceramic coat.
Hooker also offer's "stainless steel" header's at a cheaper price then Kooks or ARH.
Just throwing other header options out there, but yess. The header's that arent "stainless steel" will rust out over time. If you can afford the ARH or KOOKS right now, then i would get them.

Save yourself the heartache and just buy a good set. You can spend less money on headers, but you will only get less quality. Nothing is free, you get what you pay for. ARH and Kooks are the only 2 I would ever consider. You will regret buying "budget" headers and only end up coming back to purchase a quality set in a few years. Do it right the first time and you will have no regrets!

Used Kooks or ARH would be the best "bang for buck" in my opinion. Thats what I did. I searched the classifieds on here for about a year and have seen several outstanding deals especially when the hard core motor guys dump their 1 3/4" to go with the 1 7/8" or stepped headers. I waited until my baby was paid off then found a deal on emission Kooks and their catted Y for $850. I see race style Kooks, QTP's, and ARH's for around $500 quite often.

nothing wrong with my pacesetters!!! i know the quality isnt on par with the stainless steel headers like kooks, QTP. but ive seen a few stainless steel sets for sale in the used section that look like $hit. i had enough money to get kooks, but went with pacesetters and had left over cash for other mods. if u have the money to get the quality headers then go for it. but you are asking for best bang for the buck. and it is tough to beat pacesetters out there.

Bang for the buck I would say look for a used set of high quality stainless like ours or call the shop and see what kind of deals we currently have. If your going no cats they will be cheaper

Take a look at our 1 7/8" headers, they are a great bang for your buck header. They are ceramic coated so you should be able to use them without rusting for quite awhile. We have seen great results from these headers while not costing an arm and a leg. Feel free to PM me or give us a call at the shop if you have any additional questions!
Thanks
