As title says, what is the biggest size even if it has to be ported or modified in any way.

i thnk the mouth on the ls6 is 78mm...either that or 75mm.

i'm sure you could fit an 80mm TB on it and port out the intake mouth.

not sure its worth much though

Technically you can put a 90mm TB on there but you have to send the intake off to TPIS for them to modify the opening.

Are you serious? A 90mm will fit? I didn't even think you had enough room to modify an ls6 opening to 90mm. That should be a serious improvement over the stock TB.

by modify... they mean cut off the front and put a new opening to fit a 90. i think it costs around 300 for them to do it.

im considering having it done myself.

Or sell your LS6 w/ TB for $300 and take your 90mm TB you sound like you already have and put it on a FAST for an extra $500

Putting an 90mm TB on an LS6 probly wouldnt result in any power gains.

TPIS reports similar gains to the FAST

4 pages in i think

its $350, then you need the 90mm TB

not worth the time or money to put a 90mm on an LS6. Go big or go home.

You're right, I just went through their dyno sheets and the entire article on the 90mm intakes with tb's and totally not worth the money. I'll just save another couple of bucks and go FAST...

If you are talking F/I from a T/C or S/C a fast will only show marginal gains on a LS6 and at higher boost pressures is not as reliable due to the 3 piece design. The burst panels are recomended for the FAST in these applications.

Not to many boosted guys on a FAST for a reason.
