broken Magnaflow kit... post pics of your magnaflow install! so as the title says the hanger on my magnaflow kit broke today... im not too happy and i am awaiting a call as we speak from magnaflow to see how they are replacing it, anyone have any experience with this? i also was wondering what the tab that is on the pipe going over the rear axle is for, there is no hanger for it, however there is a bracket for a hanger directly perpendicular to the tab. please post pictures of your magnaflow install!!! thanks

dont have pics but the same thing happened to me that was one of the first mods i did probly got about 2 years out of it never tried to replace it are they going to atleast give u a new over the axle peice

no pics i welded it together for the time being... they are going to give me a whole new kit, it broke on one side with the single hanger. I was just wondering about the tab that goes on the over axle piece, i dont know how it attaches to the bracket.

im thinking that im going to put a band clamp around it to avoid putting stress on just that point in the metal.... anyone got any pics of the over axle tab?

I might be reading your post wrong but if you got the 15684 kit then check out this link. Its on the install instructions.

Mine was on the car with the stock exhaust, as I remember my 98 Camaro had one as well when I put my Borla exhaust on that, sorry cant help with a puchase, but you could try a junk yard.

I hate to ressurect a dead thread, but I got a second hand Magnaflow and the passenger side exhaust tip hanger was broken off when I recieved it.
Does ANYONE, PLEASE, have a few pics of their hangers, both, installed so I can see the right way to do it? I'm clueless, even with the install sheet. I'm afraid of every bump in the road that this thing is just going to give way.
