Default cam spec question?

Will a cam have more of a lope with different duration as apposed to a cam with the same duration?
231/237dur.. 591/601
236/236dur.. 590/590
ls is 112 on both
probably a dumb question.
I have the second cam and I want a little lope? will it have it?
thanks TC

from what ive heard the ls is mainly what causes the "lope" sound and of course the size, a 112 ls isnt near as much as 110 ls when it come the "loping sound" from what ive been told by people i would consider smart in the valve train dept lol so if i were you i would try to find a cam with a 110 ls

side by side those cams will be hard to tell apart. assuming they are both tuned for smooth idle.

If you plan on DD the car a 110 LSA (not ls) would be a bear. It would be fun to tune and fun to drive with that LSA. Also with with that kind of cam you might want to think about upping the gears you have, if you havent.

Thanks everyone,
I am putting this cam in a 72 Vega, a 99ls1 motor with new springs, oil pump, double roller timing chain and 7.4 push rods, I'm looking for a good dd with a little bite for the sound, it's light enough and I hope that it will it will run good and still get some good mpg, 373 gears with a lock up 3000 stall, built 200r4.. I have talked with John at speartech! about tuning, Again thanks for all your time and expertise..
TC
