Question Please help!! Fast 90 worth it?

I've been getting mixed reviews on the fast 90 set up, around here in mizz-ouri. I have a 383, ok heads (243's stock valves, ported flow @ 298cfm@600in and @ 230 on ex.), ms4, Ls6 w/portedt.b.,3600stall,3,73's,and 1.75hedders. I'm only putting down 435rwhp. and some guys say I probably won't see a significant difference. Why not??? more air + more fuel = more power Right!! Why wouldn't i see a good 15-20 rwhp dif.? please input...

I moved your thread to the correct location and edited the title a little bit. This will enable you to get the answers you seek

with more cubes, a big cam (well not so big for a 383) and mild heads....you WILL see a gain with the FAST intake.

how much and if its worth it to YOU are not up to us to say.

but i would look into it.

Buy it used, if you don't get the power you want turn around and sell it.

^^^Exactly. If you find a good deal, go for it. If not, just stick with the LS6

How high do you spin the engine (RPM)?

I don't think I really picked up much in my case but H/C went on at the same time so hard to tell what it did. More cubes and higher RPM's would prolly benefit more but in a 346 spinning 6500 I don't think it helped me much over an LS6. Numbers in sig are about what I was expecting with my LS6 and I had hoped to see 430 with the FAST. So draw your own conclusions.......

i have a new 92/92 for sale, it would be worth your time and money.

there are professional and independant tests ALL OVER this site about FAST gains. my car, cam only, went from 393rwhp to 417rwhp and went up to 452rwhp with the addition of PRC 5.3 heads....that's with a 231/237 cam....

6K rpms go LS6. They are nearly equal at 6K. You are looking at a grand for 5 or so HP. I am ready to get flamed but I speak the truth.......
