Default X pipe questions

Im plannin on gettin an x pipe setup for my 98 A4 trans am and plan on ordering the Dr. Gas 3" x pipe, but do I order the Complete kit?? and they'll be hooked up to either some pacesetter long tube headers or jet hot headers and will I need to order anything else other then mufflers and the x pipe and headers to complete and let my exhaust shop do the rest?

Also what kind of mufflers should I get....Im looking to have a LOUD setup because this isnt goin to be my daily driver just a weekend warrior around town and occasionaly at the track.

Sounds like you've got everything covered. Bullets are very loud and Ultra flows are pretty loud. IMO, the Ultra flows sound more refined and not so obnoxious.

Do u know where I can get any sound clips from the bullets or ultra flows?

Also im kinda iffy about havin my exhaust shop doin it, they're really good but they've never put a true dual setup on a LS1 from what they said. They said ill have a real bad clearance issue and mounting issues, what should I tell them? Will all my fuel lines and other stuff be ok where they're at?

thanks for the responses

Do a search and get alot of pictures from others dual systems that you can take to them and show them how it should be setup. This way they dont have to guess.

That looks great but what do you do about the tunnel brace? Isn't it dangerous to be driving without it?

Its in a box in my garage. In our local club there are at least 5 people running duals, and I am 99% sure that the tunnel braces are off. My subframes should go on shortly.

I drove without my tunnel brace for months as well, I don't think it can hurt you, I though it was there as a cheap way for gm to keep the driveshaft from dropping if the UV joint broke. You could always get a driveshaft loop and really have no worries.

running w/o a tunnel brace isn't an issue at all.
