Default Coolant Sender Location - FINALLY FOUND!



Been looking for something like this for a while... I wasn't too thrilled when I found out I'd have to install the sender in the rear of the passenger side head. What a PITA!

This looks like a MUCH better alternative!

only problem is.... I'm not sure if it'll fit right... I'm not too savvy on my NPT/AN fittings...

You'll just need to get a 3/8" x 1/8" NPT pipe reducer bushing and you're good to go.

yea... I emailed Autometer... and they said they'd send out the adapter to me free of charge! What friggin customer service!

well... I didn't want to have the stock guage not working... even though it's pretty much a dummy guage, I'd like to keep it functional...

Some have drilled and tapped the flat spot on top of the Water pump.
