looking at headers and was wondering if flps are worth the money. i know there are a lot of other good headers out there but i like how the flps you can swap the cats in and out for emissions. i live in tex *** right now and am finishing up school to go back to california and want the ability to put the cats back in. what do you guys think? thanks

Yes they are worth it. The nicest thing about it is that u can swap the cats and race pipes in 10min. I also gained 23rwhp 27rwtq and 3mph in the 1/4 mile and shaved .3-.4sec with the same 60ft of my time. Oh and that was through the cats, not the off road pipes. Good luck.

They are worth it for the ease of switching cats.
If you plan on running ORP's all the time then I would look into a cheaper price header.

BTW,I lost 15hp on my H/C car when I installed the Cats.

That is the best news i have ever heard about my headers because i sold the LM and waiting for the hooker and cutout on the I-pipe so i can run the Off road pipes and dont wake up the dead

Yes they are worth it. They tuck under real nice, and fitment is perfect. No obstruction while changing oil. They are the only ones on the market making removable cats also.

They are worth the extra money if you really can't get away without cats and want to be able to swap them in 15 minutes.

thanks guys i think i will be going with the FLP's after all. if i stay w/ the LM should i get a bullit in place of the resonator so i wont have a tone of rasp? if i do that where can i put the cutout? in font of the muffler? should i just get rid of the LM and go with the SLP DD or hooker catback? what do you guys think?

Well if u are running the LM u dont need a cutout because u wont be gaining anything over the LM. I did sell my LM because i couldnt run my FLP with the off road pipes. Im still waiting for my hooker catback now and a cutout. I will install the cutout before the catback in the I-pipe so i can get the max power and run my car without the cats while im driving everyday. Im sure i will lose few HP from the hooker over the LM, but i will gain more by running the off road pipes.
