Default My pacesetters took a ****!! PIX inside!!

i was driving home when i heard this huge bang!!! i pulled over popped my hood and all i could hear is this huge tapping noise coming from the pass. side, it sounded just like my rocker was tapping against my valve cover i turned it off and thought to myself, **** i just fucked up one of my rockers or bent a push rod or fucked up my whole motor!!!!!! i didn't look at it again, had it towed to my home, came out this morning was gonna take it apart when i run it back on to see where exactly was it tapping and i see THIS...

now i need to shop for headers... any feed back on the Texas Speed 1 7/8" headers????

Yeah, I've seen that happen a lot. There's tons of threads on here that follow the exact same path as this thread.

This happens eventually with any set of headers stainless or not that have emissions fittings blocked off.

I was told by a certain header manufacturer that it has happened to them all if you block off the fittings, not if they are hooked up.

TSP 1 7/8's are better. This is a good time to replace something if you were planning to anyway, no?
