Default Header install, wrap Clutch hydraulics due to heat?

Before I get started on this what kind of material does everyone use to wrap that plastic hydraulic line going to the slave? Looks to me like it would get hot next to the headers and cause issues. Is there a form of header wrap that has a sticky side like tape that I could wrap this thing with? Thanks

Dont wrap your headers. The wrap just kills headers. Now you can get a heat sleeve for the line.

I made a heat sleeve from a welding blanket. I just took it to a sew shop and had them make a long sock. Put it on my master cyl, line with some zip ties and it works great!

I have never had a problem with this, I didn't even think about it until now!

I'm not wrapping my headers, I'm wrapping my clutch hydraulic line to keep it from heat soaking close to the header. I've heard of issues when it gets hot so I'm trying to decide what to use to remedy this issue.

That's a great idea, I've got two welding blankets in my garage which I hardly ever use. Damn I love this site, thanks man!
