I think they look pretty good! Especially the polished ones. So again why does it say will not fit stock vehicles? as in they wont fit a 4th gen fbody?

Well lets see how they look installed. It would be a whole lot easier than using the coil relocation packs!

Here's some info about these from Edelbrock's press release:

**************************************
COIL COVERS
FOR GM GEN III LS SERIES ENGINES

Edelbrock’s new sand cast aluminum LS Series Coil Covers are a great way to dress up the LS1 in your
street rod or muscle car. These coil covers are designed to eliminate the stock mounting brackets on
transplanted LS1 engines by way of fitting coils directly to the underside of the Edelbrock cover. They
are intended to create a clean under hood custom appearance and will not fit stock vehicles. These
covers accept GM #12558948 coils or aftermarket equivalent replacement coils such as MSD #8245.
Coil Covers for LS Series Engines .................................................. ......................................#4118
Coil Covers for LS Series Engines with polished finish .................................................. .....#41181
Coil Covers for LS Series Engines with black powder coat finish .......................................#41183
**************************************

They jobber at $176.00 for the 4118's. We'll probably sell them for $158.40.
The #41181 jobber's at $268.78. Well sell them at $241.90.
The #41183 jobber's at $227.20. We'll sell them at $204.48.
I'm pretty certain they're sold in pairs.

I'll check on availability and post up later.

Richard

i think their front covers fit just fine with a stock chain. I've used alot of edelbrock products on gen I smallblocks and have never had a problem.
