True dual mufflers
Hey all Ive already been to LS1 sounds and they all sound the same there, probably my shitty computer speakers!
Anyway Im toying with the idea of making up some TD's for the Camaro but I dont know what to do for mufflers. I Love the way magnaflow cat-backs sound, Nice and quiet but with a deep rumble. I was thinking of dynomax bullets but they seem a little loud for my taste.
Anyone have a recommendation?

I have had the bullets dumped before axles with heads and a 244/248 cam. It was LOUD!!
I now have heads and a f14 cam with spiralflows but the duals are out the back and its MUCH quieter. I cant say for certain but i would think the bullets would make more power. Im trying flowmaster 1 chamber mufflers next

i have spiral flows on my set up and at idle they sound amazing. Nice and deep and just loud enuf to say **** with me i dare you, but still quiet enuf to take for a nice cruise/road trip.
if i didnt have my new cam i would say we could go to some meet and you could hear them. If you youtube SS4Luck, there is a video of my car on the dyno and at the track that could give you maybe a little better idea of what they sound liek

Click on my dyno #'s for my dyno vid. I have TD's w/ bullets and ran out the back w/ tips.
Here's me when I was basically stock and just got my exhaust on, spinning on street tires and getting sprayed on CETA has GMMG but you can hear mine a little more noticeably.

magnaflow 4x9s
search around by my screen-name...i've posted the comparison vids many times, straight pipes to magnaflows...big difference.
sound is VERY mellow down low, almost too quiet cruising
but hit the loud-pedal and you remember quickly what is under the hood.

I like the spiral flows as well. However, I went w/ the flomaster 1-chambers and the sound is amazing, especially w/ my cam. The only problem is that the interior noise is very loud, so long trips could be annoying, and phone converstaions are difficult. Neither of these things bother me though, I love it!
Here's what I've heard in person:
Spiral flows- relatively tame, nice sound/rumble overall
Magnaflow (4x9's)- very tame @ idle, descent sound overall
Flowmaster 1-chambers- loud @ idle, loud @ cruise, even louder @ wot, very deep sound @ idle/cruise
Borla (dont know which series)- descent idle, but loud & somewhat higher-pitched
Bullets- no distinguishable characteristics, just loud (not obnoxious though)

i put the spiral flows on my brothers LT1. hes got lt headers, and 2.5" duals out the back. the sprial flows sounds ok but personally if it were my car i would have them off there. i think i would rather go with 1 chamber flows, or a dynomax bullet (magnapack)
