Unhappy CAI help

Just a quick question im just starting to get into cars and i just installed a Volant cold air intake on my 2000 trans am. Is there any break in time on the Intake or computer or is it just instant performance?

I mean a tune would help, but CA kits do not require computer modification. Truth is, the computer should always be adjusted is airflow is ever increased- but I'll leave that up to you.

A bunch of out customers bring in their vettes and f bods and what not with just CAI and maybe a cat back, and our tune of course. We see nice gains for the money, and they are happy.
