Default sparkplug wires

just installed Granetelli wires, should i have put those oem heat shields on the lower boot, i have Kooks lt's with 1700 deg coating, ls 1 T/A

They should have enough clearance.

didnt instal the shield and not having any problems, the wires are no where near the headers, the top of the boot is close to some but not touching any

I haven't used the them since my first wire change 8 years ago, 3 header changes and multiple wire changes later....no issues. You should be okay.
