ls6 intake with cam swap
I was wondering bout doin a ls6 intake with a cam swap i was told that if u dont do a ls6 intake with a cam swap, then the cam swap is worthless is this true? What are the typical gains from a ls6 intake without a cam swap. I have slp Lts and couple bolt ons so give me some feedback thanks.

I would not say a cam swap would be worthless, but you can pick up an ls6 intake for between $300-350 dollars. Why not do it? Its one of the best bang for the buck mods for our cars. It would definitely help out with a cam swap.

Make sure when you change sure intake that you check the Kock Sensors and see if any water is in the holes. Then seal the boots that cover the sensors with a sealant.

Yes, condensation builds up under the intake. the water will go into the knock sensors because the rubber boots that cover the holes do not seal well. So make sure you check for water then seal the rubber boot with sealant. Trust me I didn't check and 2 weeks later after the intake install, I had a code (SES) pop up for the knock sensor. I took the intake off and found water

LS6 would really bring out the potentioal of the cam... When I did my mods to be honest thebest had to the Cam, LS6 Intake then LT's.... After that you will really feel the difference even if you just go LT's and Intake

its not worthless if you dont get an ls6 intake, but 300 bucks for 15 proven horsepower, your budget decides.
