i dont' know where you are going to put the e cut out but i have mine in the "I" pipe and its right under the back seat pass. side... under that seat theres a small cover i removed that and ran the wire under the seat and under the carpet to the middle of my car... it was pretty easy no drill holes needed

Remove the passenger side rear seat bottom cushion (1 bolt). You'll see a plug you can slice and pull the wires through. You're having it welded under the rear seat cavity, right?

I originally came up through the area under the seat and midway through my first track rental I noticed I was missing insulation around the wiring. The dump exit was a little too close to the wiring entry in to the vehicle. I removed that section of wiring and ran it through the rear passenger floor board location. I know a few folks that have had the same issue. What ever location you use just keep the wiring nowhere near the dump exit.

Exactly why I chose to use the next farther forward grommet on mine...No chance of that happening. Since nobody that's big enough to do any damage to wiring under the carpet can fit in an F body back seat anyway, it was a no-brainer.

I ran it through that Plug too, and under the Carpet. Then put power to the one wire, and grounded the other one.

Exactly. I ran power wire right up (& under) the side of the console, to the open/close switch, which I put in that little cubby hole arear under radio.

^^I tore that piece of **** out after it broke off of the Center Console, and made a Switch Panel that bolts on the under side of the plastic piece that goes around the Radio. Then I put the Switches on that.

I have the one Switch for the Cutout, and I wired in a second one so it doesn't have constant power, I can shut it off since I put it in the Cig Lighter Circuit.
