Default LS Spyder manifold

Hello,

Can anyone tell me something about this manifold?

http://www.mrnitrous.com/LS-SPYDER%20MANIFOLD.htm

Have any of you tried it on your LS1s ?
The results?

Thanks.
Marcin

Stock ls1....no

Big cube, lots of spray, mixed with a large cam and high revs, yes.

I don't think it would be worth the money, but if you wanna try it, go ahead, and post results here. What are your mods, current, and plans for the future. If you are doing bolt ons+ heads cam in the next year or two, this might help you, but a FAST 92/92 might be better on both budget (wow did I really just say that about a FAST lol). For bolt ons, ls6 mani for now, then later on down the road, FAST. If you are about to go big or go home, then this manifold might be worth it. Some info would be needed though.

I went 9.0 @ 3700lbs with one on my car.

The guy who made them ... John Stewart is dead I think so I dont think you can buy a new one anymore.

Thanks guys, definitely not an intake I am looking for.
I am swapping LS1 into my 1989 Formula and engine with transmission is already on car. I just want to have 450 HP on flywheel. I think I will just buy an LS6 intake since the Weiand`s Street Warrior is constantly delayed.

Thanks again

Cheers
Marcin

Maybe look at the new Edelbrock intake.

I think they are around $450

That Edelbrock one might fit for your older car. Alot of talk about that mani seems like it WON'T fit under the 4th gen cars' hoods, but depending on how much room you have in the 3rd, it could very well fit. Look into it, measure clearance and whatnot, and see if it will work.
