Default Have cut-out - raspy sounds on idle down

I have an '01 SS with an exhaust cut-out and in between shifts when the motor idles down (just causal driving) there's a raspy noise. I don't think anything is wrong because I never heard it until I put the cut-out on it. I was just wondering if anybody else's does this?

cutouts never seal 100%, at least none that I have ever used. Its annoying, but then again....if you have the cutout, you like it loud, so just leave it open and forget about it!
