Default What mufflers for true duels?

Ok i have true duels 2.5 with a magnaflow x pipe and dynomax bullets dumped. I am going to run the true duels all the way out the back now cause i just lowered my car and i need more clearance.i wanna change mufflers cause i never really liked the dynomax they are raspy with my big cam. What about sweet thunders?

LOL you're not gaining much clearance by going out the back...trust me I know. I personally like the bullets but to each his own. Here's my buds cammed Z w/ sweet thunders.

if your going for a deep sound... more old muscle car instead of the race car sound..

you need to get an hpipe.. that will change your sound a lot..

hpipe is lower and xpipe is higher.... cant speak for the hpipe.. but the xpipe takes almost all rasp out of most systems... the 1 chambers help with the rest..

18" Sweet Thunders.

230/232 XFI/XER Lobe on a 111 straight up. Pred-Z spec'd it for me.

The SS has a 246/250 on a 112.. But it was idling at around 1100 RPM's. Kinda hard to hear it. lol

Here's another vid of it going down the 1/4. Bad reaction time with 2.73's FTL.. HA HA

and if you already have an xpipe.. keep it.. no need to change

2 full size mufflers fit in the stock location under the gas tank with a little imagination and a welder. With flanges and brackets, it can be easily removed and still retain the bullets and turn downs before the axle if you want it really loud again. The setup in the pic I had Flowmasters after the axle and Powersticks before the axle, recently I removed the truck sounding Flowmasters and replaced them with Dynomaxx Ultra Flo's.

Mainly to cut done on drone. On sweet thunders site it shows a nice setup with thier mufflers. But you car hase some room at the rear to put a set there and quite it down inside the car. Meents has/had a sweet setup a while back for his CME SS.

with regular mufflers yes (borla and so on).... with things like bullets and 1 chambers though.. its not the same.. they virtually do not restrict any air flow at all... so not a big deal.. you may lose 3-4hp..
