Default Altenator wires

I just put my motor and tranny back in the car and hooked the wiring harness back up. There are 2 wires coming from the positive battery terminal that I can't remember where they go cuz it's been a year since I took it out. One is red n one is black, I assume the red goes to the post on the altenator but I'm confused on the other one. Also to the alt? Car is an 01 camaro, thanks

Even if that black wire goes directly to the positive battery terminal?

The black positive wire goes to the alternator.
The red wires goes to the fuse block and starter.
The starter positive wire is in the same loom as the engine block to battery ground.

thanks man. It's raining today so I can't mess with it. I did put the black positive wire on the alt since it had the cover on it. The red positive wire at the very top of your pic is the one I'm lost on but I seem to remember the fuse block right in front of the abs unit. Thanks again for clearing that up for me
