Default bbk 80 mm tb?

ok im thinking of buying an 80 mm bbk tb for my 98 z would i see an performance increase over stock or should i just wait and get an 85mm come spring time? coming spring i will be getting an ls6 intake if it makes a differance.(will be getting the tb for $75)

aren't you selling this car?

and i had a stock tb ported to 75mm and it was a decent improvement for the price. for $75 i'd say it's worth it. just make sure it's the right size tb cam for a 98/99 or you're gonna have to mod your throttle cable to make it work.

Since the intake is a little bigger than the stock tb it won't hurt and for the price I don't think you can get hurt.

the BBK should have a reducer that adapts the larger t.b. to the smaller intake opening along with a hardware kit and bracket for the t.b. cables that compensates for the different year cars..
You are better off spending the $75 on getting your existing t.b. ported instead..
