Default Need help in install

Hello, my name is gene i was wandering if any of u guy's ever removed or installed a complete long block in a 99-02 f-body.

I would say if you dont have a lift, go through the top and take lots of pictures

theres a book out with a step by step process on removing the motor/trans the way the factory installed them. its called how to build ls1/ls6 v8`s. its always for sale on ebay!

Yeah, or you could just go for a chilton manual. I have one that's 93 to 00 which is an odd combo. It's best to get a lift and take it out from the bottom. Get a few friends to help you. I had to replace my LS1 when it started knocking back in last January because it had a bolt missing out of the side of the block and lost oil. Didn't notice til it was too late.
