Default SLP 2OTL Intermediate Pipe?

I've got the SLP 2OTL Cat-back on my '98 Z28. SLP is having a sale on what's listed as the intermediate pipe to the '99-'02 SS/Firehawk. However, my 2OTL Cat-back is for the '98-'02 F-Body...I'm thinking it might just be typo in the title.

Anyway, if anyone still has the instructions from their SLP 2OTL, will you please list the SLP part # of the intermediate pipe please?

I know I can call SLP, but not until Mon.

Here's the pipe I'm talking about:

and here's a pic of the 2OTL cat-back:

I want to buy a cut-out and keep my original pipe un-molested.

Here's the actual page for the pipe on SLP's site:

...the link to the pic of the pipe from SLP's site isn't working, but you can still see it on the other link in the thread...

Well I called SLP and they said that the int. pipe I ordered, part # 10168S, won't fit and pretty much hung up...sorry I was wasting their time. However, I finally found the instructions from my '98-02 SLP 2OTL and it lists the int. pipe as part # 10168, but without the "S" at the end of the part #.

What could be different on an int. pipe from '98 vs. '99 - '02?

Nothing that your local exhaust shop can't tweak for you.

The '98s had the cats mounted different, maybe the Y is longer or shorter.
I guess you'll find out.

Can you clarify a few things?
You have the system on the car already?
It looks to me like the pics are on a driveway, gives me the idea you didn't put it on yet.

Or is that the kit for those who don't know? A pic you just found?

So you just want an I pipe to keep the original uncut?
Good luck there, if it's on the car already and the pics are for reference only, the over axle pipe and I pipe are going to be a bitch to seperate.

If anything match what you get from SLP and see if it's the same as whats on the car.
If it is store it away and hack up whats on the car.

My SLP 2OTL IS installed on my car...I just found that pic of it off a car for a comparison pic of for the intermediate pipe.

Yes, I just wanted an Int. Pipe to keep the original that came with my 2OTL cat-back un-cut.

I had a friend with a lift host a shop day today, so I put my car up and compared the 2 pipes. They seem identical! I have NO idea what could possibly be different. So, I basically got a spare stainless steel Int. Pipe for $22 w/free shipping so I can cut it up and install a cut-out.
