I'm gunna guess you won't be running cats. I can tell you now that with headers and no cats and a cam you will have a horrible amount of rasp with a cutout. I tried several combos to get rid of the rasp but it all failed. I finally went with duals. No more rasp but has a mean sound. Also with my duals I have just as much or more clearance than the single exhaust. If it's done right the lowest part will be where the Y pipe would be. Mine are custom made so I made sure to get them tucked up really well. Now a friend of mine has the Texas Speed duals and his seems to hang alot lower than mine do.

if you take your time with the tsp kit they do tuck up pretty nice and if you have a aftermarket torque arm they tuck up even nicer.

if i do tru duals over the axle what do i put after the headers an x pipe? cuz i think those sit a little lower right? or do you run the tru duals right next to each other till you go over the axle?

Our standard version torque arm, #2205 is designed to clear true duals... if you add a torque arm relocation kit to it.. it then becomes a chassis mounted torque arm. Here is a picture of our torque arm installed with the TSP true duals

Hope that helps!

I'll see if we have any... but the clearance is pretty good with it. That is Jerry's car which does a lot of the design work here at UMI... he runs stock height springs in the rear which helps and lowering springs in the front.

Thats What I thought! So I guess now the next question.... is it worth the swap in tq arm style vs exhaust style.
