Gettin new setup
ok well im tired of this shitty Y pipe setup so im goin true duals. I have pacesetter long tubes and wana run an X pipe with dynomax bullet mufflers on it. Now i know it will be loud but incase i want it louder i was thinking about running two cutouts after the headers just incase i wana open them up and make her blow eardrums lol. has anyone else ever done this??? and if so did you face the cutouts towards the inside or outside of the car??

A bit off the subject but have you actually heard the bullets in person? I had them on the car for about a week and changed to single chambers. I couldnt take the bullets...hated the sound.

Im thinking about getting my duals made like this setup, i want it to be straight pipes basically, but also be sturdy and not shake around. I dont like the X pipe setup bc of ground clearance.

Are the spiral flows really any quieter than a bullet? My set-up: cam, LT's, ORY, and rumbler cat-back. Nice and loud, but now I'm scared of waking the kids up when I come home at night. I ask because I've been thinking of adding one to each side before the tips, like the SLP proflow catback.

My suggestion would be add some normal mufflers like maybe flowmaster 1 chambered or maybe Sweet Thunder Chambered mufflers. Then install some electric cut-outs after the header collectors. That way you can drive around without worrying about the law, and even have a conversation in the car. I have slp shotgun resonators on my true duals which are basically the same resonators off the slp LM1. They are plenty loud, but then again they are pretty much straight through with no holes or baffles. I see no need for bullets and cut-outs, since with the bullets you will be loud enough already.
