Default Help with the EGR Tube O ring, 00 Camaro, LS1

I purchased a new GM o ring for the LS1 intake, installed it, but it does not seem to want to stay sealed

In fact we reinstalled it last night, cleared the codes from the computer, by the time I got the car home I could hear a vacuum leak again and the car had thrown codes again

Anyone have the trick to get this thing sealed again?

Thanks in advance for any help...... need the car free of codes so I can get it smoged and registered in CA... also I am sure the leak isn't good at all.

Yeah you need a good seal. Loosen it and bend the pipe a little until it seats correctly. Happened to a friend of mine after doing that EGR free mod thing a few years ago, that's all he had to do.

Ah, so it's the angle on the tube that is messing things up, thanks.
