Default Corsa really really quiet?

I bought a Corsa system from a fellow member. Finally got around to putting it on yesterday and it sounds good but wasn't what I expected. Its really quiet. Nothing like some of the videos on ls1sounds.com. I have a long tubes, offroad y, cutout, and corsa. Also have heads and cam. I'll try to get a video posted later. Is there any other mufflers that look like a corsa muffler that I might have got taken for? Thanks

Sounds like you have a nice exhaust. If you want it loud use the cutout.

As soon as I added my H/C package it made the car way too loud with my gmmg.

You must not have the actual corsa muffler because it is very loud and raspy with longtubes and no cats, and then you have heads and cam on top of that.

There is mine vs. one on ls1souds.com. (Mine on top) His has cats. I dunno. I've never heard corsa in person just on videos. For some reason it sounds louder on video than in person. Maybe i'm just not used to it. Tell me what you think

I finnally got the video to work that I wanted. Go to the corsa section on ls1sounds and click on the third one down. Its an 00 ws6 with a similar size cam. Mine sounds alot quieter.

Yea im beging to think im just not used to it. I always had my borla wide open and it was loud in the car. This corsa is like stock almost compared to it. I need to have someone else drive my car. Heck it might be pretty loud outside just quiet inside. By the way nice car man ^^^ You drive like me

Yes, Bouver's car is loud. Corsa sounds so nasty (good) without cats, except for the damn rasp between 2000 - 3000 and coming off shifts.

yeah mines the same way. Its pretty quiet inside but loud under throttle. For some reason you cant hear the sound inside the car like you do outside.

I have a Corsa catback with LT's and a catted-y, but they're Magnaflow 59959's, so they're some of the "loudest" cats you can get. With the cutout open, it's very loud. With the cutout closed, it's not loud AT ALL. At WOT, it is pretty loud, but under normal driving it's very mellow. Not like an open cutout at all. The Corsa muffler does a VERY good job at toning down the volume, and it's not raspy at all with the cats.
