i would go with lpp mainly because they are stainless and you won't ever have to worry about them rusting out, and i think i read somewhere that they have a better fit than pacesetters..

There's been some ebay stainless headers for 200 without the Y, don't know if they're any good, but it seems pacesetters are the best for the money by how popular they are...

Of the 2 go with the stainless as stated before since your a cheapskate and won't buy the Koo'ks........J/K...poken some fun at you.
Seriously though I have had SLP and Hooker coated headers and now have Kook's.....and am glad I made the decision to go SS.....coatings of the others didn't hold up here in IN (older versions though) maybe that has changed on the updated SLP/Hooker's.

Agreed although when I got my Kook's an Y-pipe, I got in on a great deal and paid about $860 shipped for them. If you can do Headers/Y/ Full exhaust for a $1000......go for it and don't look back.

if the stainless are cheaper is ther really any need for discussion?
i have pacesetters and they went right in and fit great, no problems at all!
but if stainless were cheaper id have been all over them!

yeah im giong to go stainless, the only difference was i was worried about the Y i read on here people have problems with the y, but the headers by themselves are 500 and with the y they are 600 so ill make it work since its only an extra 100 to get the y

are you comparing LPPs with an ORY and then pacesetters with a catted y? cuz that is an unfair comparison. well price anyway. pacesetters with ORY is like 500 shipped from texas speed. that might change things a little.
and in my experience, installing the pacesetter headers/ory was one of the easiest things ive done on any car. everything slipped in and lined up perfectly. nothing rubs or touches anywhere (y-pipe was fine once i installed the poly motor mounts).
pacesetters truely are the best bang for the buck. we can get into the stainless arguement but look at reality. you live in texas.

I think that would tilt things in LPP's favor even more. $100 more for stainless? You'd be crazy to get mild steel headers to save a lousy $100. Not to mention Pacesetters are one of the oldest designs out there and quite puny compared to other brands. The LPP's won't rust and rot like the Pacesetters. They have merge collectors unlike the Pacesetters. The merge on the y-pipe is better on the LPP y-pipe whereas the Pacesetter y-pipe has one of the worst merges ever made. You'd be making a big mistake going Pacesetters to save a lousy $100, especially since you'll be replacing those Pacesetters in a few years.
